Sootshell was a pet cosmetic skin in a pre-order pack.[1]
Living a humble existence within the luminous viridian caverns of the Ren'Kai homelands, this unassuming creature feeds off of the crystals that dot its habitat. Normally, these crystals are supremely tough, beyond the tooling of the Ren'Kai. The Sootshell's unique biology allows it to dissolve and absorb the substance into its body, creating a viscous but workable reagent that hardens greatly with heat. This substance is highly valuable and versatile - used in art, ceremony, and especially for warfare.[1]
