Leveling won't follow a traditional linear path, although classic mechanics for leveling exist.[1] Repetition will not be part of progression in Ashes of Creation.[2]

Classes

Ashes of Creation class list. Primary archetype is on the left. Secondary archetype is on the top.[3]

Classes are the combination of a primary and a secondary archetype.[4][5][6][3][7]

We have a specific terminology when referring to archetypes and classes. Classes are the combination of your secondary archetype with your primary archetype.[5] – Steven Sharif
