• Crafting is recipe-based, but there may be RNG when crafting "risky items". Previously it was stated that there was no RNG in crafting.
• There is RNG when over-enchanting items.
• There will not be RNG loot boxes in Ashes of Creation.
• Action combat is far less dependent on RNG than tab-targeted combat.
• There is a small RNG chance of looting rare and legendary items or crafting materials from mobs based on the level, status and type of mob.
• Daily quests will likely not be RNG-based.
• Animal Husbandry genetics will incorporate an element of RNG.
• RNG drop chances will likely not be made public.

Q: Will RNG probabilities for artisanship professions and drop rates be made public?

A: Some might and some might not. It just depends on what we're talking about specifically. You will likely see the percentage chance of success when it comes to enchanting particular armors and or weapons, when you attempt to make the enchantment choice you may see the successful completion of your crafting result when attempting to- excuse me the chance of successful completion for crafting results when you attempt to craft risky things, but what you might not see are going to be drop chances. There's going to be variance within those drop chances. – Steven Sharif
