These are essentially introductory instanced housing. This is the cheapest, lowest level of housing that you can acquire. Grants you some benefits with regards to furniture that you can place and utilize that give mechanical bonuses, as well as some storage- the citizenship side of it obviously.[1]

- Inns offer introductory instanced rental accommodation, limited furniture placement and limited storage.[5][6][1][7][2][8][9]
- Inns are intended to be the cheapest, most accessible form of player housing. This includes the ability to claim citizenship to the node in which the Inn resides.[5][1][2][10]
- Inns will present in starting areas and as business buildings on freeholds.[6][2][3][4]
- Inns are something that are also available even around the starting areas before you have an opportunity to go out into the node zones... It provides players with additional storage, they have some limited furniture application that are on a per-room basis depending on the type of room you rent at an inn.[2] – Steven Sharif
- The primary tenant of the inn can invite party members into the instance and set access permissions for family members.[7]
- Inns were previously defined as default service buildings that came pre-built with nodes.[11]
